COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING OVERVIEW
Time Warner Cable's Community Programming Center encourages the
production of non-commercial programming by members of the community.
We offer these services free of charge to the public, as we understand
the cost of equipment, facilities, and airtime can be unaffordable
for many people.
Cablecasts air on Channel 19, Monday-Saturday 5 p.m. to 11:30
p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m to 11:30 p.m. Currently, we have over 150
producers that utilize this time on a weekly basis. The shows cover
the topics of religion, politics, entertainment, as well as children's
programming. There is also a community calendar to promote local
events. The possibilities of programming are only limited by your
ability to create your own programs and meet our deadlines, as
they must adhere to the policies set by Time Warner Cable, the
City of San Diego, and the FCC.
We are always looking to support our local communities. If you
are interested, give us a call. We encourage international programming,
music shows, film projects, and specialties such as exercising
and cooking. |
